Here's the entrance to the Taruko Gorge. The door-like arc to the left is actually the entrance for the Hualian-Taitong highway, which forks from the road leading to the entrance of the Taruko Gorge.

Mysterious Valley. Nothing special, but rocks. :)

Another tunnel to the inner parts of Taruko Gorge, taken from the bridge above the Mysterious Valley.

One of the tunnels overviewing the swallow grotto, where thousands of swallows used to nest there before the flocks of tourists scared them away. Now, it's empty but the cracks on the rocks are still attractive.

One of the precipitous cliffs overseeing the river in the Nine-Turns Caves. Like usual, rocks, rocks, and more rocks.

Sceneries in Taruko Gorge. Rocks, rocks, rocks.

Scaling the walls in Taruko Gorge!

Another landmark in Taruko Gorge, yet, to me, it's something ordinary. Nothing special. A bridge built and named after some ex-president's mom. -.-

The bridge leading to the only temple in Taruko Gorge. The temple wasn't that attractive though, but then, there ain't nothing much to see anymore.

Yup. The small temple-like building behind me is a memorial dedicated to all the workers killed while working this highway. But the name is weird. Memorial of Eternal Spring. -.-
